L.A.’s Rent Assistance Program is Underway

The City of Los Angeles began accepting applications this week for its Emergency Renters Relief Program. $103 million in assistance will be made available to tenants who cannot pay rent due to the pandemic.

Applications are open for a five-day period ending Friday, July 17 at 11:59 p.m.

A website FAQ is available to help prospective applicants determine eligibility. Applicants must have a pre-crisis household annual income at or below 80% of Area Median Income (AMI) and must show proof of Los Angeles residency.
