La Puente Councilmember Dan Holloway Dead at 73

La Puente City Councilman Dan Holloway passed away last week, just four days shy of his 73rd birthday. Holloway died September 8, the city announced.

Holloway was a US Navy veteran and aerospace manager at Raytheon for three decades. He won election to the City Council in 2007, serving as mayor three times. He had previously served on the city’s Pride Committee and Planning Commission.

“...Dan’s friendship and professionalism will be missed, my heart goes out to his wife Hilda, his son, and daughters,” said Mayor Charlie Klinakis.
