The City of Stockton is seeking to fill an Administrative Analyst II position in the Financial Services Division of the Municipal Utilities Department (MUD). Incumbent will support in compliance monitoring, trend analysis, p-card purchases, requisitions, contracts, inventory, fleet, and capital projects. This position will also assist with the development of the annual budget, rate studies, and coordination with all divisions to ensure uniformity of processes department wide.

The City of Stockton is also seeking to fill an Administrative Analyst II position in the Business Operations Workgroup of the Community Development Department (CDD). Incumbent will support in PFF and grant monitoring, data entry, procurement/contracts, IT management, and other duties. This position will also provide support for policy projects such as the Cannabis Regulatory and Fee Waiver programs.

The ideal candidates would be analytical, innovative, and ready to move into positions of variety and challenge. The MUD desires a candidate that has working knowledge of government accounting practices, processes, guidelines; as well as the ability to analyze complex data and report back with clarity and consistency. CDD’s desired (but not required) qualities include data analysis and management, GIS experience, and/or a general knowledge of government financial practices.

The successful candidate will work a City of Stockton 9/80 schedule: Hours would be between 7:30am to 5:30pm Mondays through Thursdays; 7:30am to 5:00 Fridays, with alternating Fridays off. May be required to work additional hours and/or weekends to provide operational support or to attend Board, Commission, or City Council meetings.

Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in business or public administration or a closely related field and two years of professional-level experience in administration, management, systems, operations, budgetary or similar analyses. Experience in a public agency is desirable. Specified positions may require a valid California driver's license.
