Mountain View is seeking a proactive and transformative economic development professional who will embrace the opportunity to design a comprehensive program that meets the robust expectations of a dynamic Silicon Valley municipality. Spanning over 12 miles, the City of Mountain View is home to approximately 81,000 residents and many internationally known corporations such as Google, Microsoft, Intuit, and LinkedIn.

The ideal candidate will exhibit a passion for enhancing the economic vitality of a community and naturally thrive in a demanding environment. An exceptional communicator and relationship builder, the ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking professional known for being innovative. Five years of increasingly responsible relevant experience, including one year of supervisory responsibility, along with a Bachelor’s degree is required. Experience working with small businesses will be expected; municipal experience will be considered favorably.
